When I was a teenager (circa 1978), the best thing about the conventions was waking around finding joints that was lost the night before at a rock concert. You could find them along the walls where either a push broom or some electric sweeper pushed them aside.
Then they had to build Assembly Halls. The assemblies made so much more sense stoned.

The WT doesn't believe in a literal plain reading of Genesis. True to form, when something doesn't fit their narrative, they simply wave it away and say this must be symbolic. Once you understand their grift, you start seeing it in all their writings.
They believe in billions of years and progressive creation. They teach this, even though virtually every Hebrew scholar in the world agrees that the language and context of the creative days in Genesis were meant to be understood as literal 24 hr. days. Ex. - "there was an evening and a morning, the first day".
Like most anything the WT touches, they get it wrong. You have successfully refuted the false WT teaching of "Progressive Creation", but not 'Biblical Creation'.
The fossil you referenced does represent rapid burial in a catastrophic event. Biblical Creationists would say this evidence is consistent with a catastrophe like the biblical Noah's flood.Clams all over the world are found fossilized, tightly together in the "closed position" like the one pictured above. Normally when a clam dies, it opens up and the shells are found in halves.
Another example of rapid burial.
After abandoning the false narrative of progressive creation, next stop is abandoning the WT false teaching of "billions of years".
Here's a good place to start. List of 'Not So Old Things'. -

Scandal and infighting has new article on the drawing board
by RULES & REGULATIONS in'brothers, we now have the xjw community on the ropes.
a scandal and infighting among the xjw community has given us new vigor against these ''mentally diseased apostates.
'' due to legal reasons, we will not name the person.

But such talk can be expected from those who indulge in loose conduct, those who are proud and mentally diseased over questionings and debates, and those who disregard or disrespect God’s appointments.
- it-1 p. 35 - Insight, Volume 1
This affair will definitely further the average JW belief that if you leave the WT, you will become mental diseased. No question about it.

About the above video: I'm confused. Is Lloyd Evans going into a Judicial Meeting? The video looks recent. I figured he had been disfellowshipped for years.

THIS IS WT STYLE CHARITY :
JW Branch busted for sending out government covid care supplies and attempting to take credit for it!
https://thecounter.org/churches-usda-covid-19-food-boxes-boundaries-church-and-state/?fbclid=IwAR3kBD3Cqrb5DakuAc35SuzWZ6I4Bzwy9ihPiRvptIRPZ7gQ4iSdRsw6FOY
I thought that all the governments were run by Satan. At least that is what I was taught growing up as a kid. To be consistent, shouldn't they be thanking Satan instead? -

Did You Miss Playing Sports?
by Sea Breeze inhow many of you missed playing sports in school?
the wt was merely trying to keep us from committing suicide.... how loving.take a look at this fear mongering :problems with sports today - g91 8/22 p. 5. .
"people used to argue that sports were of value because they built character.... such arguments sound hollow, even hypocritical.. .

I can't think of a more dismal religion to be in as a child.
Agreed. Some of my JW childhood friends are now:1. Ex-Convicts (Elder son)
2. Murderers (Elder Son)
3. Drug Addicts (Elder Son)
4. Wife Beaters (Elder Son)
5. Wiccan Warloc (Elder Son)
6. Alcoholic
7. Another elder son was found in a dumptster (don't know the story here and don't want to)
8. Sex-Offender (Elder Son) Sex with wife's 14 YO little sister
9. Drug dealer (Ministerial Servant son)
Maybe they should have let their kids play sports and integrate into normal society... ya think? -

Righteousness According To Watchtower

Road to Nowhere:
Complying with Gods standards is not bad; but they really mean .org standards.
I agree. The WT standards go far beyond the OT standards. If the OT standards were burdensome, the WT standards are like a millstone around your neck. The NT makes it clear that Christians are set free from the consequences of failure to meet the Standards of God.
It's like the only thing God is asking is to not go out of your way to sin and get busy serving others one way or another. In other words, show a little respect for the freedom that was won for you on the cross. Other than that, the whole sin thing has already been dealt with and is a thing of the past.
For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.
"he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him".
Imagine hearing something like this at the KH.... Heads would explode!
